Mrs. Adams is a Family Nurse practitioner with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi. She has a Master of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Mississippi, where she was the recipient of the Clinical Excellence in Nursing Award for Nurse Practitioners.

Mrs. Adams is a member of the American Headache Society. She is an active participant in continuing education experiences, including the 2015 Headache Symposium in Scottsdale, Arizona and the Comprehensive Migraine Education Program in New York, New York. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society for Nurse Practitioners. In addition, she is a member of the Mississippi Nurse’s Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Her nursing background includes pediatric home health, general pediatrics, pediatric cardiology and adult medical/surgical. A migraine sufferer herself, Mrs. Adams was drawn to headache medicine because she personally understands the necessity of prevention and treatment to maintain an active quality of life. She aspires to use her knowledge and education to provide hope and relief to others like herself.
